Michael Whitley BSc(hons), DAAS, RIBA

Over his 28 years in practice, Michael’s experience covers both refurbishment and new build in commercial, community, healthcare, residential and industrial schemes. He provides strategic project management from feasibility through to completion in addition to the primary design role and co-ordination of the design team.

All new projects carried out by the practice are personally overseen by Michael. He is responsible for establishing the brief between ourselves and the client and the implementation of the design services from inception to completion overseeing all aspects of the work carried out by other members of staff.

Stephen Whitley R.M.A.P.S

Stephen has been a partner in Michael Whitley Architects for 26 years and is responsible for administrative support including communications, I.T., financial and resource planning.

He has been responsible for the development of the Quality Management System ISO:9001/2008 and Project ACORN Environmental Management System within the practice, their implementation, certification and continual assessment.

Stephen’s business experience comes from a commercial background outside architecture being involved previously in business management, accounts, financial planning and marketing.
